ARRANCAN LAS ACCIONES DE PROMOCIÓN Y AGENTES DE VIAJES VISITAN PUERTO VALLARTA


Comienza el 2012 y con el las acciones de promoción que permiten que Puerto Vallarta se encuentre en los ojos de millones de personas, entre ellos periodistas, lectores, aficionados al viaje y miembros de la industria.
En esta ocasión tocó el turno a Agentes de Viajes, miembros de la reconocida organización AAA (American Automibile Asociation) de la zona este de Estados Unidos, quienes con un esfuerzo en conjunto con el CPTM –Consejo de Promoción Turística de México-, Delta Airlines, Pleasent Holidays y Tukari DMC se encuentran de visita durante el fin de semana en este destino de playa.

Con una atractiva agenda se encuentran visitando propiedades del destino, realizando actividades de eco-aventura, visitas por la ciudad y degustando la gastronomía que Puerto Vallarta tiene por ofrecer para así regresar convencidos a casa de las experiencias únicas que este destino tiene por ofrecer. Así mismo a manera de familiarización con la zona de Bahía de Banderas, ambos destinos que conforman la zona otorgaron el día de hoy por la mañana una breve presentación a los agentes de viajes.

Estas alianzas estratégicas y los esfuerzos de promoción que se realizan entre las aerolíneas y los representantes de los destinos son de suma importancia ya que vienen a consolidar el apoyo que se tiene a las líneas aéreas para incrementar sus ventas y mantener o aumentar sus frecuencias y números de asientos hacia el Aeropuerto Internacional de Puerto Vallarta.

Este esfuerzo en conjunto con Delta Airlines es de suma importancia pues en comparación con el año anterior muestran un mayor número de vuelos semanales y su vuelo proveniente desde la ciudad de Atlanta (su principal ciudad emisora) estará operando diariamente hasta el mes de Marzo, sosteniendo 3 frecuencias semanales durante el verano.

GUILLERMO OHEM NUEVO DIRECTOR GENERAL DEL FIDETUR


Anoche fue presentado Guillermo Ohem Ochoa, nuevo director general del Fideicomiso de Turismo de Puerto Vallarta. La presentación se realizó ante un número reducido de invitados de la industria turística de la ciudad, en uno de los salones del hotel Marriott, que dirige Dennis Whitelaw. Además, entre los invitados se pudo ver a Norma Furlong presidenta de Tukari DMC, a Luis Angarita, Luis Ángel Cantú, Miguel González González y Salvador Peña, entre otros. 

Guillermo Ohem cuenta con una vasta experiencia en la industria turística, anteriormente laboró en el Consejo de Promoción Turística de México, ascendiendo en las diversas etapas que enfrentó durante su desempeño en dicha institución.

Fue director en las oficinas del CPTM en la ciudad de Chicago, Illinois, posición que ocupó durante dos años para después ser coordinador de oficinas en el exterior, basado en la ciudad de México; su ardua labor lo llevó a ser coordinador de Promoción para las Américas en el mismo DF, para después fungir como director regional para Latinoamérica en Buenos Aires, Argentina.
